TWIN THORNS GUESTHOUSE

Twin Thorns Guesthouse is an old farmstead, built in the 1920s.
It was recently restored to preserve its old world atmosphere and original charm. The farmstead and the separate cottage are
nestled in a lush and pristine garden at the south western boundary of the Saragossa Game Reserve. The leisure rooms
include a cosy lounge with an open fireplace, a dining room and beautiful veranda. The veranda looks out
onto the farm gardens planted with an abundance of flowers, shrubs, trees, veggies and fruits.

HAVEN OF TRANQUILITY

Up to 12 guests can be accommodated in the main farm house and the cottage. Twin Thorns Guesthouse comprises of three standard rooms and three spacious suites. The cottage can be booked as a self-catering unit for a maximum of 4 adults plus 2 children. The large swimming pool with a separate cold water Jacuzzi is centrally situated in the garden for guests to use at any time. During the day drinks and snacks are served while guests can relax and enjoy the sun and stunning surroundings.

Saragossa Game Reserve is a haven of tranquility in the heart of the African bush, located on the banks of the Elands River in the scenic Elands Valley, approximately 20 km east of the old railway village Waterval Boven (Emgwenya). This exclusive nature and wildlife retreat covers a variety of ecosystems, from riverine forest to Savannah to bushveld.

With an aura of calmness and beautiful nature, it is the ideal place to start or end your journey in South Africa. Giraffe, hippo, zebra, blue wildebeest and eland are just a few of the indigenous species that roam freely throughout the 1400-hectare reserve. Caracal, hyena, porcupines and many more can be discovered.
