In sharp contrast with his businesses in Europe he strives to make a difference in the travel industry. Anna loves travelling and has been fortunate enough to travel and work at the same time; destinations including Holland, Madagascar, Zambia, the Okavango Delta and South Africa. She believes travelling teaches us to find the wonder and marvel in ordinary life, it broadens horizons and turns the ordinary into something extraordinary.

With his broad range of knowledge Hugo perfectly complements the Saragossa team. Not only does he have a degree in Heritage and Cultural Tourism as well as field guide qualifications but is also an avid fisherman. He has taken on the mammoth task of ridding our reserve of invasive plants. In his spare time he loves exploring his surroundings broadening his knowledge on all fauna, flora and historic events in our area

LEBOGILE
At 20 years of age Lebo, born and raised in Hazyview, Mpumalanga, is one of the youngest staff members at Saragossa. She is a fun-loving person who is very excited and positive about growing her career in the tourism industry.

Riana is known as a people and nature lover and sees the beauty in everything. All the way from Botswana she knows the importance of the rawness of nature and how to treat it. She walks the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Anna has been a waitress for 15 years! Her passion for people is what keeps her excited. “I love exploring and learning new things about people’s cultures, languages and the different ways of doing things. Exceeding our customers wildest expectations is what inspires me most of all!”

ZAMA
Zama joined the Saragossa reserve in August 2010. Born in Kwazulu Natal, she completed her culinary studies at Isibindi Lodge. A mother to three, Zama is responsible for the reserve’s signature bread and confectionary served at high tea.

SIABONGA
Originally from KZN Siya joined Saragossa in 2016 as a Barman/waiter. Loving the peaceful environment and beauty of Saragossa he enjoys interacting with all our guests on a daily basis and is eager to learn new languages especially German.

Thabang developed a love for cooking at a very young age while living with his great grandmother. After matriculating he studied hospitality and his first position with Silver Star Casino was a dream come true. It was only in 2017 that he joined the Saragossa team. Thabang loves travelling and would like to experience some of the world’s cuisines. It is his passion to create happiness through great tasting meals wherever he is.

Caroline is known as an animal lover and has saved many a wild and domestic babe in need, she also has a vast knowledge of all things ecological and the bushveld remains her first love. Starting her career at Londolozi Game Reserve in 1995 she has since worked in exotic locations such as Dubai, the Okavango Delta and Zambia. At Saragossa she hopes to grow the best farm-to-table meat and vegetables for our guests to enjoy.
